I haven't read LKH, so not sure. Is Jean-Claude very old? Looks like he might like the older style clothing. I do love a little lace on a handsome man. ;-)
Jean Claude is from a time of lace and breeches. I've never read exactly how long he is, but he's French, hot, and sexy as well as several hundred years old, somewhere between 400 and 600 hundred years old. He's very dramatic and tries for nonchalance every chance he get. He has infected Anita with the ardeur. His sire, Belle Morte is even older, some 2000 years old, also known as the Beautiful Death. Marmee Noir is thousands of years old, before modern man, the creator of all vamps in LKH world. (She also thought to be part lycan, part vamp) I love LKH's world and I'm hoping she gets a little more back to her roots.
Jean-Claude is one of the hottest vamps and one of my favorites. Talk about a vamp that could sweep a girl off her feet. Literally!

I never could get "into" Jean-Claude - I think it was the clothes that LKH always put him into. Loved his character though.
